Everything can be boosted by something!

Oooo how about a tentacle land mine? that can be used to defend bases and farm lands?

Jeez ever since I became a tentacle wrangler i haven't been able to get the things out of my head.

I want a launcher that shoots cute but deadly cats at people, because who would expect a cat to do burst damage over time and have their own health bar, this way enemies will attack the cat stuck to them instead of you, which could buy you some time to change weapons or escape

For example:

 

A gun which shoots our another gun. Which shoots out another gun. And another. And another...

I would be pretty unoriginal and think of a modern re-make of a Kalashnikov-styled weapon. The backstory would be that this Earth-born design was so simple it could never be phased out, and even primitive backwater worlds could manufacture them from blueprints for self-defense and hunting purposes. Because they consist of only metals and simple polymers they are cheap and require little infrastructure to manufacture. This translates into a decent all-purpose gun with little cost. The downside is you need to manufacture it's ammo with additional resources, lead, chemical propellants and malleable metal casings.

 

A corrosive assault rifle that quickly eats through any non-metal substance.

 

Bombchus, exploding shuriken, a large fish to be used as a melee weapon, or a temporal freeze ray that encases the target in a negative time warp separating them from the current time space and making them incapable of move forward or backward through time under their own locomotion. I'd use this to make some fancy lawn ornaments.

 

an arm cannon, capable of being charged up. Fully charged shots would cause explosions capable of destroying terrain. Original? No. But still fun.

 

I imagine a world with no weapons.....don't take that away from me man!

 

Id like there to be a weapon or shield that has a step back ability, or a gadget that do do something like this:

A full auto electro-gerbil cannon.

 

A gun which launches pigs which're pooping rainbows and flying around.

Inversion Cannon: A gun that converts a small amount of the atoms in the air into anti-matter and directs the resulting explosion forward.

 

A literal confetti cannon.

 

I'm a huge fan of claw like weapons. Either it be the lightning claws from 40k, to wolverine claws... all of them.

For ranged weapon I read in a book somewhere (sadly can't remember the name) of a enormous gun on a space ship that would fire these shells that caused mini black holes in other ships. I thought it would be cool in a sci-fi genre that a riffle could do the same thing, like a rail gun or the sorts.
