I'm stuck on top of my ship! Please help

I'm stuck on top of my ship! I can warp down to the planet, but since the planets were wiped, we have nothing down there. Everything my friends and I have is stored on this ship. We're hovering about 10 blocks above the ship and when we attempt to beam to it we just beam there. I've checked on the subreddit but none of the suggestions I was given are helpful. We really can't afford to make new characters, we're going to lose everything if we do. What do you think I should do to get back into the ship? I've enclosed some screenshots to clarify what's going on.

Would it be possible to interact with that bed down there? If so, you could possibly get inside the ship.

 

Do you know what you might have done to get up there?

 

It happened when I beamed up to it. I have no idea.

Yeah he is trying to play on an old universe instead of making a new one.

 

I haven't seen him say that anywhere, and I don't think this would be the result of doing so.

 

You can go to your Player folder in Starbound directory, find shipworld file that belongs to this particular character(just open player files with notepad and look for your characters name, than there will be file with the same name, but .shipworld) delete it and you'll have a new ship, with your character intact(you'll need to craft most of your stuff again, tho).

 

1) Have one of your friends make a new character.
2) Have that friend join you on this server with that new character, join you in a party, and beam to your ship.
3) Have that friend take as much stuff as he can carry.
4) Have that friend make his own multiplayer server, and store all your stuff on a ship/planet there.
5) Repeat steps 2-5 until you've cleaned out your ship.
6) Join your friend on his server (using the party/beam to ship function) and get your stuff from him (with help from your other friends to carry it all).
7) Go back to your server with your stuff (with your friend logged in on his original character) and use one of your friend's ships instead of yours to explore until the next wipe.
