Modding Help I'm not sure how to package a mod

    I saw a few people complain about the Butterfly Boost, both for name and (mainly) for the appearance of the tech - and I also thought that it doesn't quite fit the 'theme' of the character I primarily play.

    Rather than complain or say that "someone" should mod the tech, I went and retextured it myself - including the tech item image - and renamed it to fit the new textures. But, while I know how to manually replace the affected files (8 images and 1 other, in 3 locations), I'd rather just have it as something that can be dropped in the mod folder, in case it doesn't work or someone wants to go back to the butterflies (or in case they'd like to, say, be able to use their own textures or something). I'd like to be able to enable/disable my changes myself, in case I do decide to play a character where the butterflies are more fitting :p

    So, what I'm after is a bit of help with how to package these files so they'll be properly used when loaded in, without just overwriting base files. Or if it's even worth bothering for a tech item reskinX3

    That looks like it's for custom items and such, though, not reskinning of existing content. I don't think involving that mod would have any effect at all on what I've done.
