I'm new and may need someone to help me through

hey, I know some small things about starbound and have got the game about yesterday, I have only managed to beam down to my planet at the beginning and would like to join someone. I can offer art and loyalty, an example of an avian I drew is below!

 

What do you mean by "join somebody"? Just curious, because I'm quite new too, and honestly, if co-op is possible, I'd love to do it.

yeah multiplayer is a thing, but it's tough if you don't know what you're doing. You've got to mess around with ports and stuff. However, in the upcoming update you'll beable to join other players though steam!
