Nice work on the cloth animation, and I like the "clean-ness" of your sprites. You messed up on the re-sheath animation, though. Looks like half her sword disappears.
That is called being a designer, and ya he is a really good one, i dont try pixel art since long time ago, i should give a shot with this game, could be fun.
I've got plenty, i just think spriting just might not be for me. :'D there's also the fact that i just cant seem to get guidelines down so it never really starts cept for maybe a circle for the head. never found a good guide or just a visual on how other people tend to do it so i can get a hint
I am now starting to work on requests that I've got. I'm starting with Kierran's. I came up with a cool animation, but I wasn't sure if I could pull it off. It would be one of the hardest and most complex animations I have ever done. Kierran's character base pose: Complex ass animation that took 6 hours just to finish this much: Here's a WIP of it: (best seen with a white background) Indeed, this one was a huge challenge, because I've never tried something with that much movement. flip jumping WHILE spinning? That shit actually made my head hurt, trying to imagine and visualize it in my head. Here's a spritesheet of the frames (now you can see my animation process!), and I have selected in red the specific frames that gave me a brain tumor trying to imagine. There was too much movement going on at the same time, and I confused myself over and over trying to figure out which direction what limbs were supposed to be going... Note: I'm going to post every single new anim here, but I will be posting them all in one giant dump on reddit when I'm finished with every request. That's gonna take about 1-2 weeks... Notenote: I should seriously consider making a fighting game or action adventure game with these sprites
I would suggest setting up a request list that closes off once it fills up, then opens again once those requests are finished. Just an idea, really. Is there any special procedure we have to go through to make a request?
It's going really well Nice work! Agreeing to this Seen people do stuff for free here and regretting it without closing stuff like that
How many requests have you gotten by the way? I would like to make one but I don't want to overload you. Also Damn these look awesome.
When I made this thread, I had no idea I would be getting requests. Once I posted these on reddit, I got swarmed unexpectedly. Right now I'm not taking anymore requests, because I've got quite a number of them, and I still need to get back to my own project. Sorry!
That's understandable. All it takes is one person asking and receiving a request for the floodgates to open.
