I know we had full warning of a reset in early stages in beta but it's hard not to get attached. RIP STUFF

Wow man your place looks amazing. I haven't been able to get very far xP, can't seem to find the next set after Steel.

Sadly no, I kinda want it to happen so I can start over without it looming over me.

 

I know that when beta was announced that they warned everyone early on there would be resets but my problem is if I play the early game several times because of the reset when a version of the game that is near final stage comes out and resets are done i'll be tired of early game xP.

 

Thanks Jayux! I actually took all the materials in that structure from a nearby (I think it was Glitch?) settlement. Wiped them all out and stripped the structure for materials. I would have no idea how to make those blocks on my own, lol.

EDIT: It's all wall panels and pressurized steel.

That's Apex stuff (They're monkies).

Glitch have medieval castles with knights and stuff.

 

Oh, I couldn't tell because they were all wearing hoods and had red eyes. Didn't seem like Apex as I didn't see any Big Ape propaganda or anything or any apes for that matter. They could have been under the hoods though. It was also kind of like a high tech pyramid.

 

Oh, one of those. I've found a bunch of them.

They seem to be guarded by Glitch, but it can't be them because Glitch explicitly hate technology and try to kill anyone who tries to advance their society (Which is the reason the Glitch PC is labeled a heretic and thrown out).

I always assumed such places were abandoned labs, where only the automated security systems still function.

I haven't been playing SB at all, been waiting for the wipe to play again

To be fair, Glitches weren't the only "synthetic civilization simulation". They just are the one which "glitched out" and got stuck in the middle age.

Plus there's been mention in avian lore, iirc, of another mechanical race which may or may not have been related to the glitch as well. And if I recall well, there's an Avian book where the writer about how Kluex the avian god is supposed to be flesh and blood rather than a spiritual entity.... but is never seen and then made many musing about similarities with Big Ape in this regard(which is described as the flesh and blood rulers of the Apex, but is never seen) which could make one wonder if the Apex(especially with their history wiped by Big Ape) might not be also related to these things.

Edit: Also must I say. RIP my stuff. You had a short but meaningful life even if I mostly hopped around from planets to planets trying to not get too much attached to you, since I knew your demise will come one day.

Still, you will be missed. At least, until I get shinier Stuff once I begin playing again after the next patch. Then I will merely have to be sorry for not missing you as much.
