My original sketch for Cipherstar, but then I changed it entirely. o3o
Basic anatomy was borrowed from a WW comic cover. Typically when I do this, the final product comes out looking a lot less plagiarized.


An action shot from some Floran lore. I might still finish this one, but I originally gave up because of the damned axe. Stupid axes and their stupid angles >>
Also I'm unhappy with the rabbit thing.

Ending on a better note. This is my cat as a dragon. I'd like to finish this one, but don't have the motivation yet.

Would you draw my Ningen Character: Akane?

She wields the Star Seeker and Akane's Blight ( Was Data Trojan.) and make sure she has Anime eyes. I promise.

Make sure she has her sword/keyblade strapped to her back, Otherwise it will come out wrong.

@TimeCraked Finished yours! I could not get the feet right, though, and also I didn't want to bother with covering up your junk with some weird metallic strips, so I opted pants on you. I think it might look better if the entire lower half was removed; thus I'm only half pleased with it. Besides those two areas, I really like this one. I hope you do, too!
Style of shading is quite a bit softer than usual.

 

So I've done a very preliminary, basic, speed-paint/sketchy type sketch of Draikken's Avali.
I'll be moving onto the next request if they don't PM me back within a day or two, since I don't want to be doing requests for people who aren't here anymore when there are active members waiting on me o3o
I'd like @Featherdust 's feedback on my avali this time. I didn't use a reference, other than the picture Draikken linked me.

 

Very well then, I'll happily provide some feedback for you! ^^
First of all: very well done, this avali design looks a lot more accurate, it's just awesome overall! ^w^

Now I'll first explain some of the details that could use some changes, first there's the plumage feathers, all of them are supposed to come out of the back of the head, not the top of it.
Secondly, you made the bottom ears upside down, I may as well say they're basically exactly like the top ears only located in a different place. And then there's the headphones,
you had a few small details wrong which make them look more like earrings, but that's just how it looks to me. Another thing is the purple feathers (I don't really know what's the name for those)
need to go down all the way to the little nose thingy, like this: http://imgur.com/Y7vlnCD, Avali also don't have an iris, their eyes are entirely black.

Now there's one last important detail I wish to mention, is the body size.
The average height for Avali is 3-4 ft, and that means they can't be as lanky and tall as humans.
Because of that, their limb to body ratio needs to be a little different, for example:

Most of the races you draw have lankier, taller limbs and torso, while avali have short ones.
This is an important detail considering the two Avali you drew seem tall and lanky compared to other Avali. (although I really like how you draw that)
One last important detail is the tail, it's good but it's quite far off what the original design was meant to be.
