I actually want to change up The outfit a bit, how about instead of a labcoat, how about a bloodied bath robe holding a coffee mug? and if possible, could you make his eyes look like he just got up? Edit: also his chassis color are a lightish grey, and his optical sensor color is orange.
So I'm gonna use y'all as guinea pigs. I'm gonna stick a screenshot of my WIP sketch layer. Just to see if anyone's interested. Someone asked about my process earlier, so I wanted to share a bit of the innards. Once I'm satisfied with this layer in a picture, I'll put it down to 55% opacity, create a linework layer, and go over it with thicker lines. When the lineart's done, I erase everything on the sketching layer, bring it back up to full opacity, and then begin colouring. This one is quite a bit cleaner than usual.
@PositivAndroid Aaaaaaand done. I'm really happy with the way this one came out -- I hope you like it too! Also, let me know if you want it without the caption. It made me giggle, but I saved it in a separate layer so it could be removed easily if you didn't like it.
Hahaha, I love it! The only problem I have with it is that the faceplate is glass, but that is easily outweighed by the final product!
Which part is the faceplate? I can probably fix it pretty easily. Do you mean the eyes are inside the helmet with nothing in front, and I added a glass cover?
The piece of metal that is where the mouth should be, it is actually a light silver instead of a graphite color. Thanks!
I'm also curious, do any of you want to see some of the WIPs I'll never finish? Note that I won't be finishing them based on "You can do it!"s, so don't bother trying lol. Usually I've lost interest. They're just sort of concepts I have but am too lazy to translate into visuals. Don't feel obliged to say yes if you don't care.
