If your world had a music theme, what would it be?

I think that's the right idea man, songs that don't take over the situation. Backround songs that sound great but fade into the gameplay. Good call.
here's another example.

 

I'm really curious what kind of music Starbound will have.

I would love me some 8-bit/orchestra mashups. Chiptune Sounds as a Base and real Strings setting in to fill up the room. I think that would cover the retro feel and epic epicness of the game design.

So for the lack of a music theme that already excists I started working on my own Starbound inspired stuff. I will post it here eventually (if it turns out how I want it to sound ).

I'd like a 8-bit/orchestra type soundtrack for Starbound. Like Terraria's, but with a more, "modern" feel.

 

This is a hard choice, so I'll just post two.
