I'm liking most of the pokemon ones haha.

I agree, that song is really relaxing. Not sure if I'd want it as a theme for my world, though.

I think if I had to pick, I'd agree with Pentekont... great choice

Take your time, and ask yourself what kind of world you would have and what you wanna do on it, and it would be alot easier

I know exactly how you feel. I saw this thread while idly browsing the forum, then spent most of the next day and a half thinking about my answer. And y'know what? I still haven't figured it out yet. If pressed, I would reluctantly narrow down my choices to just this:

There were so many other songs I wanted to post, but in the end these ones won out because of one important factor: they are good background songs. They're pretty, they set the mood, and they don't demand your attention. Try letting them play in the background while you do something else; I think you will be pleasantly surprised. Also probably a factor in my choices: I played DWM a lot as a kid, so these songs have major nostalgia power for me.
...Seriously though, you should probably listen to the entire DWM soundtrack. It is awesome and good. (Also, Cobaltcakes may be on to something with Philip Glass... a lot of his work is very atmospheric and beautiful)
