That reminds me of the sword familiar from Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Kudos!

 

A chargeable ranged weapon that does splash damage

See this thing? Best not mess with someone who has it. They'll kill you easy and rip your arms outta their sockets.

 

Hakai Beam - A rail gun that works similar to a bolt action sniper rifle, you can only use it while you are crouching or laying down with the weapon's heavy bipod's set on the ground, once you take aim and click there will be different levels of the beam, if you hold the button and charge the beam for 2 seconds it will only hit one target with a weak beam, if you hold it for 4 seconds you will hit a few targets with a powerful beam, if you hold it for 8 seconds you will blast out a Hakai Beam that will destroy 5-8 weak enemies in the path of the beam, the Hakai Beam will run on battery so you can only use it once before it runs out of battery, having the weapon along with you will slow you down by 20-10 %.

That's kind of what I'd like to have with me. ^-^

 

A gunblade. As in, a blade that shoots guns.

Personally I'd remake the Sword of Omens, just so when I achieve victory I can shout HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Kinetic Coil-Rifle:

Utilizing the power of Magnetism and Kinetic Energy, Ferrous (used here to indicate High-Density) Iron blocks called 'Slags' are loaded into the Kinetic Coil-Rifle's Sonic Vibration Chamber, where it is super-charged with static energy until reaching a near-molten hot temperature. When the trigger mechanism is pulled, a single 'slug' of semi-liquid iron is projected outward at near-relativistic speeds by an extended coil of super-magnets.

The intense friction of the amorphous 'slug' against the air as it travels means that this weapon is only accurate for close to mid-range encounters. However, that same intense friction ensures that when the 'slug' reaches it's target... it's completely molten and highly lethal.

 

I would have to say Telepathically controlled blades, in-game you would move your mouse and they would follow. There would be a limit in the distance, about half a screen, and they can be damaged by enemies too. While using them however you cannot move as you're concentrating on making the blades fly around.

 

A cannon that fires rabid bears.

Bears do damage when they hit something and will continue to do damage by mauling the target for a certain amount of time.

 

A cannon that fires miniguns that fire machineguns that fire shotguns that fire handguns that fire hands that turn into birds and explode.

 

You would end up with many many exploding birds. Also, imagine the ammo cost

 

I'd probably go for a cobra launcher.

Snakes are cool like Fezzes and they are great random addition to planets, why not use them as venomous ammo ^_^

 

Kitten Launcher.
It'd be a support-like weapon. Basically a Rocket launcher, but with kittens instead. (Or the equivalent of our earth kittens. Space kittens?)
When you shoot a kitten at an ally, they get the kitten on their head, and it snuggles them with love, protecting/healing them for a short time.
When you shoot a kitten at an enemy, it claws at them, de-buffing/damaging them for a short time.
This would cause you to think about where your kitten litter was, and who it was helping/hindering.
You'd have a limited number of kittens, though the kittens would return to you after they drop off their target, walking back to you and jumping back in the launcher. (Or just teleport back. Space kittens have mastered the complex art of wormhole travel.)

Or maybe some kind of weapon that tied in more directly with the pet system!
Tactical Laser Pointer
Basically a big laser pointer for your pet, you shine the red dot on something, and your pet goes into a frenzy trying to catch the red dot. This'd allow you to redirect your pet to a certain target enemy, change positioning to avoid being caught in something nasty, or just look ridiculously adorable trying to catch the red dot.
