If you could make or add a weapon to starbound what would it be?

    1H Spears (it should be in the game already), shields with special attacks (like bash) and 2H Shields (why carry 2, when you can carry a big one). :lolwut:

    A gatling laser (fallout)
    or a grappling hook that can damage enemies and has a chance to cause them to bleed if you hit them.

    Some funny tentacle-ish weapon animated from the player's face. Who needs guns when you can tongueslap your enemies? Also epee and fists as a regular weapon (no gloves)

    Imagine a weapon that is ONLY defensive.

    A "Matter Re-director".

    Repels ranged attacks back at it's enemy.

    It would require a bit of skill and timing though.
