If you could add one endgame item into the game, what would you choose?

Quick-transport: Instantly digs a hole beneath you all the way to the other side of the planet you're on.

wait... is there typically an end-game to a procedurally generated game?
I mean... eventually the random-generator will come up with a tougher boss, and the chances of encountering the absolute "Max Stats" in every category are extremely unlikely within any decent period of time, in my opinion.

Definitely a Terraforming Device of some sort.

Well, BFG type weapons have been done. Superpowers too, so...
A towel. That's it, none of that "protecting you from the swamp gas of planets" nonsense. It's a simple towel that sits in your cabin on the station and looks pretty.

the endgame is collecting every piece of gear you wish to desire, in this case your custom piece of equipment that you've always wanted

    Perhaps something like this:
    The SharkShot (A GunSword)
"As sharp as a shark's teeth"
    74 Melee Damage
    68 Ranged Damage
Very Fast Speed <-- Sword Part
Very Fast Speed <-- Gun Part
    High Knockback <-- Sword Part
    Average Knockback <-- Gun Part
Of course something of this caliber would require many things, most of which I haven't come up with yet, since the game hasn't been released.

an item witch allows me to rewind and travel though time and if i say prevented myself from getting a weapon in the past, in the present i would no have that item, I would then prevent myself from acquiring the device witch rewinds and travels through time and see what happens

in real life, we've come up with countless theories about creating paradoxes, or how time would fix itself...
If your item worked as intended in the game... you'd just overuse it and generate errors that would break your save.
conflicting entries at the same time, the save wouldn't know what info would be used at present etc.

I'm all in for an observation style item, that lets you view any point of the game you've explored up to when you started the game, that way you might try to track certain items that were supposed to be somewhere, but were taken away by an NPC for whatever reason.

I'm trying to avoid paradoxes and time-collapse here, people.

I want a magic wooden staff that can kill players without their battle consent.

Wardrobifier, placed in your Space Station. You can put random vanity pieces in it and every time you go to another planet, it switches between them.

Something that would allow only me to walk inside of my house and I can turn the death lasers that kill you when you walk in off and on. Just for those times I don't want to look at people. Or just for screwing someone over when I say that they can walk in but then get zapped.

Ah, so something like a scanner that checks the character entering the designated area, that would actually be pretty cool, and useful for keeping mobs/enemies out of the area.

Yeah, mobs, that's what I was thinking of.
