If you could add any item from Starbound to real life...

I saw all these 'what if' threads, so I decided to do the same.

The topic of this thread is...

If you could take any item from the game of Starbound to reality, what would it be?

For me it would probably be an Avian lamp. Not an impervium weapon, but a crystal lamp. Why? Because it's fucking dark in my room and the ringing of the old lights hurt my ears.

A mushroom sword and a mushroom shield, why ? Because it'd be amazing.

 

The matter manipulator. I don't think it should need much explanation. Use it for all the things!

Then I would rent it to NASA for several billion dollars, they would reverse engineer it, and then give it back to me. Then I'd lead the world in a new age of exploration

Coal. If you can use a single lump of it to travel to a nearby planet and back, it's obvious it's not the same as our local punny coal.

1) Speak softly and carry a stick capable of electrocuting anyone you don't like.

Edible bandages. Delicious, edible bandages.

 

Wheat seed. It grows in like a day or two without fail in any kind of dirt. It provides multiple seeds each time you harvest it, and the harvested wheat doesn't even need to be milled to turn it to bread. I'd be a billionaire in no time with my super-wheat and single handedly solve world hunger.

 

While not an item per se, I'd like to add the FTL drive in our ships to real life. Because then we can reverse engineer it and begin a new age of space exploration and technological advancement.

 

Pixel printer. Since everything in IRL is highdef I should be rolling around in my pixel pool soon enough.

 

If I can choose a tech, I'd go with targeted blink.

 

Human Mech Tech

 

My backpack.

In it, I can easily carry hundreds of tons of dirt, rock, gold ore, weapons, food, bandages, stacks of DESKS & CABINETS, thousands of doors, and tons of processed URANIUM!!! Well enough to fully stock my secret underground lair.

Or, if I prefer, it can help me carry my fairly considerable collection of small golden duckies...

Either way, with my backpack AND an evil plan, I could hoard BILLIONS of tons of the world's resources and hold them for ransom.

But then again, why hoard billions, when I could hoard.... MILLIONS?
