If you could add a race from another franchise to Starbound, what race will it be?

I think it ould be cool if they formed this game with a little more of an RPG form. specifically the roles you can play in a group. Then make races around that while still keeping the single player aspect as well.

 

I wouldn't.
I would like to keep the "cross contamination", if you will to a minimum.

I'd also like to see a joke race, maybe a random animal spawn or whatever, of little men with square heads and blue shirts, trying desperetly to beat trees, other animals, heck the earth itself, even cactus into submission with their bare, rectangular fists. Might be a funny little nod and wink.

Something along the lines of the Invaders from Shin Getter Robo would be pretty awesome. One moment it's a small adorable puppy, the next it's a 40 ft. tall monstrosity made up primarily of eyeballs, blades, and raw flesh looking to turn you inside out. Guess it'd be a bit like a mimic, in that regard.

 

Any game that have a Wolf/ WereWolf race.

 

Not really a race, but Titan infected npcs from Arkham Asylum would be cool.

 

If at gunpoint I would add Echidnas and Hedgehogs from the Sonic Universe.

 

Awwww yeaahhh sexy snake wimminz. Heck, if they added nagas to the game I might even ditch being an awesome robot to become a snake dude instead.
