Hello fellow forum browsers and fellow suggesters! Personally, I'd really like to see some kind of ability implemented that allows people to interact with each other! This implementation would involve: - A set of idle expressions showing sadness, (jumping for) joy, exhaustion (yawning), laughing, etc... - A small set of random idle expressions like the tipping of a hat (to acknowledge someone), waving, "impatiently tapping their foot, falling asleep, inspect his held item/weapon"* , waving a flashlight around out of boredom (in dark places), or maybe a little smoochie-smoochie. - Various two-person actions such as shaking hands, hugs, high-fives or props (brofist!), etc... *The quote is from another post which you can find here: http://community.playstarbound.com/index.php?threads/player-idle-animations.26134/ HUG HIGH-FIVE Hugs and High-fives courtesy of polipbo! Thank you so much for making sprites! I think this would add immersion to the game, make characters and npcs more lively-looking, add some roleplay capabilities, as well as add an encouragement when a fellow player does something good. ***** I was in IRC at around 5:19PM on August 16th, 2013 when mollygos responded to my question about player idles/actions! I don't have a timestamp, but she said this: "<mollygos> if we did stuff like that it'd be post-release" "<mollygos> they're in the game! so you can"

A lovely idea, and one that I think has a relatively high chance of being implemented. Not too idealistic, and a function that I think most people can get behind. I look forward to it.
#Affectionate hug A Human Hugging an Avian. Nothing too complex but I am willing to help out more if you like!
I have to agree with you! I mean, come on, who doesn't like hugs!? It would definitely make a nice Sunday project for the team if they considered it! Thanks everyone for the support and kind words!
Argh, I was just about to suggest something like this until I bumped into this thread. But hey, you have my support! You might also get a few sprites off of me too
