i know its still in fixes and balancement ,since weapons got a fuckton of buffs and the ufo boss got nerfed to a cardboard space ship and all numbers for planets are gone , still no selling and prices balanced my main language is french , sorry for my bad english , bare with my little mistakes please anyway ideas that some people will see and that the developers wont probably care since .. .im just a random guy those are just suggestion , im not trying to make call of warcraft fortress 2, it was just some idea , quote the letter or number you agree or disagree and explain why, i am not upset for not having those in the game so dont reply to me as if i where to try to enforce them in A] i love the random drops , , it would require a harder time to push up from the first tier and would actualy make weapons under level 25 worth more than feeding the trash B] ability to pick up pixels and put them somewhere [see next suggestion for the why before you call bullshit on it and say its a way to cheat the only punishment of death C] for the races and shop , it would make more implication that you need to build up reputation before you can curchase higer level materials exemple , start game , get 400 fuel , get to the avian flying fortress and buy the super sniper or super shotgun wich make everything sellable by the merchan pointless because you know you just have to collect a few more pixel to get a better gun 01 -breakin something that is not dirt / cobble in a radius around a npc from a village or taking items in thier storage would trigger negative reputation 02 -staying too long with a weapon rapidly decrease reputation [something very similar is in place] 03-having a special community chest with pixels in it , donating pixels will incrase reputation [to a cetain limit so you cant just farm reputation] , taking the money is obviously negative 04 -have unfinished building that gathering missing materials and brinign weapons will incrase and fortify the village ,[so you cant just find a village and bein imune from monster attacks] (will incrase reputation) 05 -rare npc that will craft such weapons like the first level 10 sniper , shotgun and machinegun that you have to save from dungeons (incrase rep) 06 -neutral npc that dont cry when you reach them [referencing the avian tower with the 2 civilian on the side platforms , the first npc attacked you so self defence required , but they keep implying that you will kill them, if talking to them more than once whitout a weapon , they realsie you dont mean them any harm (no reputation since they where with the bandit in the first place) 07 -space police , killing an entire village have no real conseqences , what if each npc have a life detector device , and upon dying , it scan the area and reveal the people around to help finding the person or animal that killed them [ill get back to this later] , [reputation go down when you kill lone unarmed npc like in the avian tower or the lone floran hutts. after too many murders , a space cop come to fight you with power acording to your level , but slightly stronger [after all they here to stop you , not send more men to butcher] (i dont want to turn into a space gta so no space army when you kill the cop) 08 -revengeance , some villager npc could ask you to kill a specific monster on the planet that killed one or many of thier beloved ones (incrase reputation) 09 -accidental terrorist , some suspcious give you quest wich require special materials , brining it to him will end up in a bomb or bailing with your item killing people on its way out (decrease reputation) 10 -mercenary, hire and gear unexperienced soldier to get better at fighting [decrease reputation alot by hiring him] give double the reputation it costed to hire him after a few requirement [full turn of planet +50%] [+10% each 20 monster killed] [+10% every 2 bandit npc killed] [ +5% on each manual labor safely executed like choping down wood, terraforming an area to flat] 11 -starving villages, village cursed with bad crops are starving to death , feeding them will grant you reputation (i noticed that i had over 200 seed and no use for them ... this can encourage the player to make farms rather than just go with iron bow and get an overstock of meat 12 - delivery, someone ask you to deliver an item that he need to be sent right away , there is no one else and entrust you with something realy important. completing the task will give you pixels and reputation , not completing it give you bad reputation but you get to keep what was needed to be delivered , wich is unknown , will you be willing to open the package and risk your reputation for whats in the package? 13 - escorting , same as mercenary whitout the killing assist , must bring to somewhere on the planet or another planet whitin the same solar system D] expodential increase in values , as for a pistol be worth 600 pixel doing 10 damage per shot , an pistol with same stats doing 20 dmg should cost more than double , making transition between tiers of items take longer so we can actual enjoy the vast variety of thems that lay in front of us , instead of straight up jumping for the burning hammer doing 55 dmgs and the sniper doing 72 with both having 10 armor penetration E]you can find alot of the same tech laying around , maybe the ability to mix 2 together? the most advantageous one ive seen so far is the double jump + energy dash , it would make planet crossing simpler when youre just here to visit and not to actualy gather, yet this can come with alot of bad intention from players [making fight harder for the bandits and monster and dungeon traps pointless F] chest side , prettry sure that will be worked on , small box have 9 slot while big one have 16 , and small chest have 16 slot while big one also have 16 out of eastetic , storage items should have slot proportional to thier side , otherwise its more ergonomic (<-) to make a storage using platforms and little chest only G] thats is more of an hud thing but , ability to keybind , and choose the player colors from sliders or rgb's for a wider variety of colors , id like a deep forest green for my holoist or a undead blue skin for my human and a brown set for my glitch H] building tool, ability to place only 1 block or edit the look of a tile from the tileset like the high tech blocks [there might be one but i didnt play it far enough to find it] I] items sink, like in every games that have inventory , you always end up with a shiton of material that you will never use , even in old fps games where you save up your bullets for harder fights , and end up killing the last boss and still have all your guns full exept the strongest weapon you had. point is , when i end up with over 12300 woods and dirts and seeds and so mutch iron , copper and silver that i could make houses out of them, there is something missing in the primary mechanics that make costant use / waste of them and that is still a viable option even when you reach high tier exemple , why not add a machine that wash dirthblocks to retrive good minerals , and need those good minerals to make healing salve or to compress to make into a random ore, what about using the promary ores in a machine to process items youll always need , like wood, use ores to cut wood in a machine and the better the ore , the longer it last before it break in the machine , now you can use one of your very few diamond , or throw in yoru bag of copper you made that youll never use anymroe once your reached silver set
I would read it... But my eyes are burning... I think reputation from holding out a weapon should be temporary, like shooting stations in the X series, it eventually resets.
