There should be an update focused only on space battles, they could use the game Barotrauma and the mobile game Pixel Starships as a base, honestly what I find most tedious is the space travel, there should be more action during the trip, and the crew would be really useful, if the battle between ships similar to Barotrauma were added, it would be incredible.
