the idea would be a table that you can mack in game and you could mack any gun with any stats but the better it is the more it will cost. the cheapest being some amound of iron and copper. just if some one could help me mack this or if its not possible explane to me why.
The only way i can think about making this possibly work is by process of "attachments" You can create a table that uses materials such as Copper Bar/Silver/Gold etc to make more materials that have a specific description such as "Adds +5 Power to weapon". Then you would have to make a weapon with each attachment, essentially making a ton of weapons to simulate "attachment modifications". This would mean a separate weapon for +4 attack +1 swing speed and +4 attack +2 swing speed etc. It would be tedious but possible. Unless anyone else has and better ideas, I'm just now getting into modding.
Judging by your spelling, you're some distance away from making mods. But, as an idea: I noticed EPPs can have augments, and, according to,my sources, there are too many to have been simply hundreds of possible EPP-augment combination. I would utilize that system to change the properties of an already-owned weapon for a price. I Also believe a randomised system: create a completely randomised weapon via a remaster of the "spawnweapon" command (or whatever it may be now), a low amount of resources will create an underpowered weapon, while more resources of different kinds would yield more powerful weapons. The randomised aspect means you're never guaranteed to get the perfect weapon the first time. As an added risk, weapons may come out underpowered, as if you used less materials to make it, so you won't always get a good weapon out of good materials. This wouldn't happen too often to be frustrating, and wouldn't be rare enough to be overlooked.
There was a mod made like this once. It's outdated now and it's something I have looked into updating before 1.0 update. I might take another look into now that the game is fully released.
