I can't add new techs, right now I have modified the jump jet tech but I can't acquire it in the tech terminal. How do you add new techs? Is there anyway I could make a jetpack mod?
Look at this mods: Energy shield tech Phase shift module I used them as an example to add a custom tech to my custom race. You need what is in Quest folder>Outpost And in Objects>Outpost. Basically you add new techs via the scientist quest in the outpost and you need to add a patch for the machine tech in the outpost too.
