    If they are going to add some type of racial benefits. I feel like Florans should gets benefits from eating different fruits and vegetables. I feel like the fish people should be able to breathe under water, bird people jump higher, etc.

    they will, there was something about special abilites when wear racial armor

    The racial armors are the racial benefits.

    There are going to be no benefits from races, as such. Instead, bonuses will come from racial armor. Each race has a different armor bonus, and starts with access to its armor. They also unlock the armor of other races later in the game.
