Dragon Fly is the original name, Draco musca is simply a traduction, thank you google traductor I was really bored: They are suposed to be carnivore flying/jumping aliens, jumping and moving in a way reasembling a giant grasshopper. Alpha always eats first, wings express their emotions, the one in the background is sad because he/she/it gets no food. They live in different biomes, depending on wich, their color changes, but they need a big amount of food and water to survive, they won't survive in a dessert, but they will survive in a forest. This one (pixel version) lives in a forest, their crest is used in reproduction, female lays eggs and a spore (produced in the crest) reaches the egg, creating baby aliens. Better version by Zalechenko. They don't roar ike a lion would do, but produce a sound reasembling the one of a pterodactyl. They tend to live in groups of 3-5, the ratio female/male is 4/1 because a male can ''spore'' hundreds of eggs, the females tend to be the ones hunting although a male is faster, stronger and jumps higher. They live in caves and don't care much about their spawn, they lay the eggs in a cave and then bury the cave, the hatchlings excavate to get out of there and try to survive. Ohhh, ok. So as i was bored i got your alien and did light/darkness stuff to it and added the third eye kinda like it looks in the drawings. Not much.
Hmmmm, this looks like I creature I would expect to find in starbound, I would recomend that you color the sketch and add a back story or anything that makes this a suggestion for it to be implemented. I would like to see this ingame so I think you should make a name, story, planet, ext and post it.
Am i that good? you joking? LOL i'm not THAT good... i made this in half a hour tehee WILL DO! LOL pretty unrealistic as for charging plasma you need a point in space wich dosen't has any contact with other matter as it would melt said matter, therefore it is impossible for biological beings to create plasma but they COULD use fire... like using some kind of biofuel... some kind of napalm wich reacts and creates fire with 2 substances wich mixed together combust, i don't know much about chemistry but, the alien could simply throw liquid A from one side of it's mouth (or nose, or head whatever) and liquid B from the other side, hole A and hole B beinjg near, and then substances A and B contact and create a combustion, like a flamethrower but biological, it ''should'' make the creature resistant to fire as it couldn't survive without being resistant to fire, creating fires wich would roast itself... creating plasma is impossible but creating napalm isn't that difficult.

Whoa, if the draco muscus has the ability to spit fire using two combusters, said combusters could be hunted for, the alien suddenly becomes valorous to hunters as a simple flamethrower or grenade can be made out of the corpse of the alien... imagine it, simply two leafs made to contain the liquids, or perhaps it's own stomach crafted into 2 recipients, wich would be thrown together, and when they hit ground, they explode and tadaa! you've got a small napalm grenade.
