    Can I use my save from a "downloaded" version?

    I usually "test" games before I buy it.

    I couldn't stop playing the whole weekend.

    This game is a piece of art! :D

      You can. I also started playing from a downloaded *wink wink* copy and have been playing it since day 1. I only bought the game today but I can still use the same save file I have.

        How did you do it?
        So I guess the save isn't on cloud or something, right?

          in windoze, just go to %APPDATA% in the explorer, the saves are in the StardewValley/Saves folder,
          It may be there already by default as it's still the same game I presume, but if ya need to it's there, under user/appdata.

            Come on guys - have a bit more common sense then talking about a pirated copy on the official forums. Also as expected the developers cannot condone or provide support for pirated copies, so locking.
