Aside from a few missions you are given free reign in your domain. Requirements For starting: Level 0 Level 1 Level 2 ¬To be added later¬ Basics on how to BEGIN the challenge Start out by beaming down to a planet and immediately place down 2 torches to mark your starting spot. Ooh, so if im reading this correctly, its like a starbound version of a skyblock map in minecraft? I think i'm going to try this, it sounds pretty neat.
Skyblock maps generally place you on a completely empty world with only limited resources you can generate, like trees, (crops/herbs for Terraria potions and some sand and such, and different kind of blocks to make different monsters) above a void with maybe a few secrets somewhere around you, either deep down or high up out of immediate reach. This is more trying to tame the world, maybe imagine the world around you is corrupted and you must purify it with your paint tool, but it's not safe to do so from outside structures or something.
Right. Also, i was wondering, but what does the "Metals:" line mean? Are the metals part of infinite materials? And what do you have to do on other planets?
Basically you can only use the resources available to the planet while building it, but you mostly have to get them from other planets, the only change you can make to the one you're building on, is within your bubble, but you can gather the extra resources if something enters your influence.
