I thought birds were nerfed and ore was balanced

Ohh okey, maybe that's why there's an abundance of ores

 

That is actually because it was in the patch notes which you should read before making any valid complaint. Ores are raised for testing purposes atm.

 

Huh? Birds are so easy to just run away from now, dont want to fight it? run away, simple as that.

 

I haven't had this problem, even before the balance updates. (Or rather, I got one-shot a couple times before then, but never followed until death.) Not sure what your issue is. Do you have birdseed in your pocket?

 

The birds were nerfed. As mean as they can be now, they're still nothing to what they were.

 

Its absolutely been improved over the last patch though. The day of the patch, I was immediately killing things faster, and felt like I was able to survive a bit better. I find birds rarely even attack me now, and before they were like kamikaze dive bombers. Like someone already mentioned though, as you get to tier 3 armor, it does get a lot smoother. I'm not saying there isn't more balance needed, but it was an improvement.

As far as ore, i think its said it was more balanced, not absolutely balanced. Copper and silver, esp silver, are still out of whack, but everything else feels about right. Every planet is different. Some planets I have trouble finding coal, but for everyone like that, I find another where i leave with 500 coal ore banked after a couple hours.

 

They're not even mean now. I can take a few steps in the opposite direction and the birds will fly away. It's pretty boring if anything.
