So I was exploring a Savannah planet, and after dodging a couple of moons that tried to crush me, I found this weapon. Pretty sweet. Legendary. Fires off a bunch of bones and it one shots most creatures I come across. So after a bit, I went mining... Aaaaand... I found that. Did some evil space wizard use this planet as a graveyard and make a weapon from the bones of those he killed? o.o I didn't take more screenshots but it was a whole biome, with massive caverns and everything.
Bone Hammer's a badass weapon. I might even say the best, if not one of the best melee weapons you can run into. As for the biome, I've actually run into a couple of these in my many sessions. Heck, I even ran into one above-ground bone biome on a desert planet once. It was pretty creepy the first time I dug into one. Running through a cave and suddenly finding blocks made of remains, freaked me out.
I like to think they're hidden mass graveyards. The remains of a great and cataclysmic war buried, hidden under the surfaces of planets hopefully never to be found. Who could have waged such wars? Why were they at war? Only the bones can tell us now.
I fell down an enormous gap in a cave about 100 blocks, and somehow survived. At the bottom was an entire pit of those things. Yes, they're incredibly creepy.
I remember having this weapon before the wipe. I didnt know that it destroys the blocks that the bones touch (when i got it i beamed straight to my ship). So being stupid I used it in my ship, destroying everything
I'm constantly wrecking the inside of my ship with the bone hammer, it's a bit disconcerting. I could swear I never pressed anything either, it's like the bone hammer went off in my hand :/
Same. Pretty good weapon that you can find. Not the best stats but still pretty good to use in alpha/beta sectors
