So. I just completed the museum collection for the second time ever. This time I did it on winter 21 year 2! I actually completed the collection before Grandpa's return, I cannot believe that just happened! I wasn't really trying either, I just noticed early in winter year 2 that I was only missing 3 artifacts, the two strange dolls and the dino egg. So I made it my mission to get those artifacts. Spent a couple of days down in the mines digging for dolls and found them and then spent a couple of days fishing for the egg and found it!! Unfortunately because the dino egg was the last artifact I found, it means I need to find another one to get the dino, but I don't even care about that. I'm just beyond happy I managed to do this. It's gonna take a while before I lose this grin on my face And a few screenshot, just because:
Yeah, it took me twice as long time to complete it the first time, mid-winter year 4! xD And that was after several seasons doing nothing but looking for those last few artifacts.

And I bought the cowboy hat from the hat mouse! I don't really like how it makes her hair short though, so I probably won't be using it for very long.
Wow congratulations!! thats quite amazing indeed ^^ and that reminds me... on my previous save I was trying like crazy to get everything for the museum... and boy did it not go well <w< I think I only got about half done by Year 2 fall, bad show.
Oh, that reminds me that I had two artifacts to go, an elven ring and a clavicle or something, and I found the clavical but forgot I was looking for it and stuck it in my extra artifacts chest for lord knows how long. I'm such a dummy :/
Congrats! (Slightly envious, please forgive me, lol). Almost year 8 for me and I'm down to 2 missing artifacts. It's the 22nd of winter, finished remodeling my farm finally, so I think I'll make it my thing to do for the next 6 days! Still need the Ancient Sword and the Prehistoric Scapula!

Is buying Omni Geodes from the Oasis shop worth it for artifact hunting? I don't mean from a financial point of view but rather from a 'Can you get any artifact you need this way' point of view.
There are a few artifacts you can get from omni geodes, but it's not many. You'll be able to get all the minerals no problem that way though!
