They are probably very scrambled trying to get everyone together, that may be the culprit of the delays and possible miscommunication.

But they just need to be aware of stuff like this, because i know I'm not the only one who is always checking their website to see if an updates up. You aren't explaining what you want to disprove well. What I'm getting out of this was you did not understand the context of what he said or you don't mind people needlessly arguing and flaming.

So, This may just be me. But, well... And sorry this is my first time actually writing on this forum, but i've read it and hung on baited breath for new intel between patch notes, long before it was available for repurchase on steam. But of late, this forum has gotten a little... Dark? Mean? I'm not sure, but its lost a good deal of the positive energy or... useful feedback that it used to have. It sorta makes me sad to read this forum after a patch note now days. I guess what I'm saying is that id like to see us return to the mature nature we had as a fanbase when we started. Also, I'm afraid if we continue to be douchebags and if Chuckle Fish has to listen to anymore of this silliness that they will turn this game around and we can all go home. Just please. Try to remember gents why we all got excited about this game in the first place. And maybe. I dont know try to give the game a chance, and eachother a chance as game community.

 

This requires logic and reasoning. Many members have it, you just see those that don't posting more. The influx of new members drowns out the more mature (generally) older members.

I want to add that turning tail on development would be the most disastrous thing Chucklefish as a company could do. It would also ruin any games they publish and you can guarantee Steam and other major marketplaces will not do buisness with them.

Don't get me started on personal ramifications.

Of course they could half-ass it or reduce scope if they wanted to get it over with. Would still ruin their image.

Let me try to get this straight - his comment was supposed to show the situation in the thread - active arguing. The way he builds his comment, shows us that he desapproves the way that arguing occures. He is trying to tell us that all of this doesn't make sense and has no point, no need. He IS against it.

What I am trying to say, is that such arguing is a natural thing, and here we have arguments, different views and it might look it has no sense and no need, but everyone has a purpose to argue (criticizm, defending etc.) . Call it as you want - flaming, fights, debates, doesn't matter, but it always takes place.
I am not really showing my attitude to it, but I think it's impossible not to argue for people, they will always try to show their opinion to others, no matter how silly will it look.
That's what I was trying to disprove.

Also, try to build your sentences more properly, for me as a non native English speaker it's difficult to understand your speech. Or just be calmer.

 

I Think what i tried to do backfired. I rather hoped to deescalate the argument between two fans of the game who might seem to be having a miscommunication. It's not my place to say, but, my understanding is that this forum is here improve the game. And Maybe some argument helps with that, but of late, well, I think the game would be better if we all took a deep breath, and thought about each post we added, and how that post might add to our game experience.

I do have a minor issue. I'm renting a server from the company that i see advertised on the homepage. And we are getting kicked out of the server every few hours with a brief message that the server is being saved. I put in a help desk ticket with the company but they blamed the Chuckle Fish. Also, and this is just me but the email they sent back felt like a brushoff and not super great customer service. I'm sorry this issue isn't in regard to the last update so this is probably not the right place for it. But if i could be directed to where i should post this issue id be a good sight more grateful Thank you!

So how has this comment helped anything? It hasn't. You don't need to be abusive. I think the progression and extra rooms are a good step in the right direction. Maybe you could say what they could do better, work on it more in the future. But at the moment its a good idea, it gives people more room, without downloading mods and im 99% certain that this won't be the last update on ships, so you don't have to be so narky.

 

What Paradox said, there is no need to say that last sentence in any circumstance. If anything you aren't even giving them a chance. If I was an artist at CF that last sentence would put me off or even hurt my feelings. I don't mean any hate but if you read this comment then think about that.

This goes to others too, remember this is a beta/alpha and this is probably the first time making these ships. They will improve as time goes on.
