I just ruthlessly slaughtered an entire Glitch Castle

I regret nothing. As an Apex, Starcrusher goes where Starcrusher pleases. The guard rudely told me to halt and not approach any further. This is when I trapped him and proceeded to murder every single soul in that castle until he was the last one left; forced to watch his brothers and sisters die for the sake of my enjoyment while he stood there helpless. I looted the entire castle, broke walls down and took anything at all that was of worth. Otherwise, I destroyed it if I deemed it useless. I even destroyed some ceiling so rain could slowly destroy and corrode the beautiful brick. I almost felt bad for a moment.

I had just settled down in an old missile silo like building on a fresh snow planet, when I discovered the vile Floran's had settled right next door. Huge treehouses (How does that work on an ICE world anyway... gods knows).

I couldn't stand for it - I started digging tunnels beneath the village and making surgical strikes to avoid being detected (Not really needed because "lol one shot hits" anyway - but it was fun).

An hour later, their precious tree house village was reduced to a warzone. I pillaged what I wanted, and burned the rest to a cinder.

 

In other news, you've come out at least 2 stim packs richer, so it was all worth it in the end.

 

You just went bananas on the place :O

 

Talk about going apeshi....*ahem* I will return the favor and "liberate" as many Apex as I can, throwing their remains into as big a barrel as I can find. Then lighting it on fire. Enjoy.

 

Did the same thing before the wipe.

Took the king's crown, wore it for half the slaughter.

. . . Though I didn't start 'cause the guard was rude. I started because he attacked me when I walked inside and his castle was between me and exploring the rest of the planet. Then the other guards got mad about me killing that guard in self defense, and one thing led to another.

. . . I left a few non-combatants alive.

 

YES!!! Brother Apex did us proud!!

 

I hear if you speak to the Glitch NPC's in Olde English you may experience a more pleasant response. So sad to see travelers who swing first and ask questions later.

I found other castles and cities that were less aggressive about me not coming in.

Others merely told me to put my weapons away, and I complied, and everything was cool. Those guys were jerks tho.

 

Too bad the NPCs can't ignore you drawing weapons, if only to defend yourself from an animal right next to the village. At least they seem to forget about it if you run away for a while.

If you think that's intense, wait till the banquet happens in every Glitch village. Simply spend 2 hours in any NPC village to witness the feast of the Fleshbags. We dance, and sing, and exchange gifts over the corpses of carbon-based lifeforms.

My floran just did the same thing to an Apex thought restructuring center. Maybe not the exact same thing, but end result was 'everyone dies, everything not nailed down looted'. Does that mean that a Floran temple is going to be desecrated next?

 

I propose a Floran-Glitch alliance against King Kong up there. We need to track him down, find his base and give him what for!

I've seen Apex 'Thought Reassignment' centers. They haven't wronged me, but their citizens deserve better than the government they've been given.

I only kill the guards, and 'Thought Reassigners' though.

 

Funny, I'm a Glitch and I kill all of the Apex. My Glitch is so very obsessed with Apex tech, oh how he loves it so, how he loves to cleanse their blood and guts from their beautiful steel before he takes it for himself. Sometimes he grows Apex in test tubes in his house, just to slaughter them. The familiar scent of the iron-filled liquid and future steel comforts him so.
