I just lost my platinum pickaxe

It was the lava at the bottom of the planet, which is basically a bottomless pit of suffering.

 

Things fall slow in lava, you could have caught it. =p

 

That moment when you hit "Q" and don't realize it, notice your item is gone 30 seconds afterwards, back trace, and find it just come onto screen on time to despawn.

 

I would suggest checking your second inventory (the one where blocks are automatically stored). For some reason I had a legendary weapon that I thought I lost only to discover is was hiding in that inventory all along. It may not be there, but it's definitely worth checking.

 

With my Durasteel armor?

 

pop a stim pack

and the stim pack heal is pretty much equal to lava damage

 

Lava tons of damage now though, it would have to be a one second dip

 

I think dropped items only last for about 30 seconds though, don't they? When dropped in lava, they're basically gone.

Not sure if this will stay true much longer. They will be adding "melting" status, so going for a dip in lava will no longer exfoliate your beautiful skin and help bring out your eyes.

 

Since when did they add a "Fabulous" buff?
