If it's what I'm thinking of (the shiny pyramids with the floating blue crystals), then I think it's probably part of some backstory, the creators of the Glitch that are actually the same guys as the Sunborn and had a hand in Floran evolution as well.

Just so you know those are actually a subfaction of the avian. I found a codex, The Iron Avian, that mentioned them. Apparently they're wearing power armor and are supposedly capable of flight.

It's not being too specific, it's describing something that the others don't.

Questioning means you don't know.

Intersex means you were born with genitalia that is neither typically male nor female, but somewhere in between.

Asexual means you don't have any sexual attraction.

The desire for identity is one of the main human endeavors. It helps you find other people who have the same struggles as you do. Just telling someone to not ask and not tell is telling them that they don't need to find a community of like-minded people, because the only way to do that is to identify yourself. When people can't find a community, it leads to a lot of problems, such as mental health issues like depression and anxiety, because they think they're strange and they have a problem that no one else does and why can't they just be like everyone else? etc.

 

"Human Rights Campaign" is kind of questionable in a universe where only 1/6th of all people are Human.
