Closed I have a question that wasn't in the FAQs...

I want to play the beta of starbound once it is released. Do I have to pre-order the copy before the beta is released, or can I wait until the beta is released, still pre-order and remain eligible to play the beta?

also, if i play the beta, and i pre order a copy for my little brother, will the beta have multiplayer? i wouldnt find this game fun by myself..

And the game already has multiplayer built-in (single-player is just a local multiplayer game I think), so the beta should as well.

 

okay, thanks! i should have read before posting -.-, but thats all i needed to know! i'll probably buy the 4 pack when i get paid again
