Closed I can't craft cooked meat!

I create first character and can't craft cooked meat. I create secound character and craft meat but can't craft furnace!

 

You use a campfire to cook meat :/ not a furnace. Also, a furnace has to be made at a crafting bench with stone and torches - uncheck the tick-box that only lets you see what you can already craft so you can see recipes of other craftables.

 

how exactly cooking must be done? cause im standing near campfire with raw meat and pushing 'c' and i cant see any recipe or something usefull. so how i can cook this meat?

ok, so I am at the campfire, I press E, put in the raw alien meat in the correct, left hand slot, press cook.... annnnnnd nothing happens. HELP PLEASE!!

 

You have already created a new character to see if its the same?
Different universes?
Try that.

 

It's better to use the MIDDLE MOUSE BUTTON to activate containers and tables. It's far more intuitive than "highlight and press E".
