I can appreciate a bit of difficulty, but...

Early on, the monsters on the lvl 1 starter planet are a bit overtuned? Or maybe just some buggy actions. They move at super-speeds, leap at you from half the map away, and do so much damage so fast...the most pixel I've managed to save up was a bit over 300, but then I ran into a pink tutu hippo group and was decimated.

Worse yet, the giant lvl 4 rock lizard on my planet decided to follow me home and camp on my spawn point. THAT was fun. Got a good sword from him when I killed him though.

Anyway, the animations for monsters, at least in the beginning, seem too fast and too 'hard' for someone wearing sweatpants and a wooden bow and arrow. You almost HAVE to abuse wall-glitching to kill them.

They go down pretty quickly with the sword, but they definitely move very fast. Probably a bit too fast for the start of the game.

honestly, i haven't had a problem with anything i've come across other than the avians in a dungeon i found, and those are npc's with actual weapons. and even so, those go down silly easy if you just move around right. however, maybe adding a dodge ability by double tapping a direction would be useful.

i did start a suggestion thread though, so if you have any you might want to group them there. would make things less cluttered overall.
