    I got a short and sweet question. Thanks for taking the time to answer questions for people Tiy. Not many developers would do this :D

    My question is will there be more Vanity armor? If so will they be related to something or be references to things like most others are?

    Oh and one more. Will there be like themed weapons for the vanity armor? Like the cowboy set there could be like an Old Timey Wild West gun or something?

    @Tiy Just a quick question in relation to Ship Vs Ship combat. Will it ever happen? Community members have pointed out guns on the ships but are they purely for decoration/art purposes? Thanks for doing this by the way and sorry if the question has already been asked.

    I'm very glad to be able to ask you questions, but I hope I don't go overboard lol.

    - Are there any plans for a way to spawn NPCs (via NPC Spawners) of a particular gender?

    - I don't like to reference Terraria much in regards to Starbound, but I've been wondering if there will ever be a way to manipulate the edges of tiles? Terraria makes use of the hammer to curve, smooth and angle tiles for more creative use in building. It would be an excellent function for builders and modders alike, if considered for addition ^_^

    - And lastly, I know you are working on vehicles. Will it be possible for vehicles to play songs when riding in a vehicle?

    Thank you for making Starbound such a dream for modders to create in. It's been such a joy playing the main content of the game, and being able to add to the game like adding paint on a canvas. I look forward to all that you have in store for Starbound, and am very grateful for its creation, and for all the hard work your team has poured into it ^_^

    can you integrate these buttons which in the right corner of the screen to only one ? An intelligence terminal is much cooler than pixel bag codex crafting etc. If I have a space ship . I rather a terminal , not some low things.

    Would you consider a wider variety of ship upgrades?

    Such as, perhaps, a ship upgrade that causes you to use fuel more efficiently rather than a simple space upgrade. Or perhaps one that reduces the animation time of jumps.
    Maybe you could do an exclusive choice sort of upgrade, where you have to pick between fuel efficiency, space, or speed (just as some placeholder examples).

    To elaborate, I really enjoy the ship upgrade before the one which adds like three or four additional rooms (the "last" one?) I find my ship too big personally with this final upgrade.
    And rather than, say, just never upgrading my ship, some alternative choice would be great. It would also leave room for a more dynamic upgrade process (and replayability) rather than just at the end of each mission/tier, so you can keep upgrading your ship beyond the game's currently-implemented story.

    Not sure if that's the direction you would be willing to go, just my brainstorming.

    First: Are you planning to make steam multiplayer (Like directly joining a friend's game without having to be on a server) a thing? Second: Are you still planning race-specific armor bonuses? If so, are you planning to make them have different bonuses based on the different armor "classes"? Third: How the heck do you say Hylotl?! And fourth: Can you notice me Senpai?:giggle:

    Random events when travel in starbound what do you think.

    Optional hunger and heat setting?

    Also are race food some time in the FUTURE! like curremt corn,chill, oculemon etc are they gonna
    be poisonous to ohter races like the description says.

    I mean starbound need ilegal Intergalactic gladiator arena what do you think

    I'm working on a mod which adds a ton of color diversity to random planet generation. Only problem is that "hueShiftOptions" (which controls the color of a planet) does not affect a biomes' "subBlocks", so my red-tinted Cobblestone and other relevant blocks never change color. It leads to a boring scenario where everything else is a weird, wacky and cool color scheme but certain blocks stay the same, planet to planet. Can someone on CF's side fix this?

    Please don't ask this stupid question which has been answered 100 times over already.

    Just because a question has been asked 100 time, or even 1000 times, that's no reason to call it stupid. It's a valid question to ask directly to the head of CF. Please don't insult a users question just because it's been answered before, theres no need to be rude.

    It is a stupid question because the exact same question has been asked directly to Tiy multiple times and the answer has always been the same. It's barely been a month since the last AMA - top question? "Are hunger and temperature coming back?"

    The question is stupid because it is indicative that someone spent all of zero seconds looking up an answer beforehand. This has been such commonplace discussion on these forums that the asker, General Nuclear, should not have even had to ask since he's an active poster and, to my memory, has already made threads about hunger/temperature which have been answered.

    Edit: so, he has not made a thread about hunger/temperature. My apologies. Still, it's not hard to find discussion relating to existing dev statements on hunger, and this is basically an unnecessary further clarification that, yes indeed, hunger is coming back. For the hundredth time.

    Edit 2: General Nuclear being explicitly told that hunger is coming back (June 17th dev blog thread)

    Do you have any plans to make random group multiplayer a thing? As in, a dedicated server listing everyone with public servers that can be accessed in game.

    Are you considering reworking the physics at all? Platforming still isn't great, mostly because jumping is hard to control.

    Are we going to be able to connect vehicles in a centipede fashion at all?

    You don't have any job openings at all do you? I have a friend who writes GLSL shaders, likes making patterns with rngs, has a very novel implementation of a hunger system that would suit this game very well... if he wanted to drop a resume off to you...

    so i been wondering if there will be more monsters outside the "monster parts" or if the monster parts get their own loot? it would be a wonderful thing for an idea where monster drops could be used to craft their own weapons/armors
    like, kill something with a horn, get "monster horn" item, kill something with wings, get "monster wings" item, combine a few of those and you get a weapon/armor based on the monster
    like a sword out of bunny parts would be "bunny sword" and look like the handle is with bunny fur and it has a blade shaped like a bunny ear or whatever lol
    would this be possible in the future?

    Will guns be rebalanced at some point? They currently tend to be worse than melee weapons, and they also tend to be quite boring (When there is a lot of potential in them, specially now that they could get secondary attacks, such as automatic shotguns that also come with attack reflectors).
    Will armor be modified at some point? Currently, progressing hardly does anything: Proportionally, being in a tier 2 planet with steel armor is the same as a tier 4 planet with Durasteel armor, except that the landscape looks different.
    Will there be more race-specific crafting recipes? Novakids can craft guns instead of melee weapons, and making all races able to craft only certain weapons would be more interesting and would spice up the game.
    Will there be codex entries that are only available after getting to certain points in progression? It would only make sense for that to happen depending on how the upcoming missions are, specially if the PC ends up affecting the background lore by doing things such as killing important background characters.
    How is the game's theme heading? Some bits such as some of the weirder monsters and the Erchius Horror seem to hint at a bit of Science Fantasy, but the rest indicate soft sci-fi.
    Will the way ranged weapons work be modified? It seems that a good way to get a lot of potential from them would be to make them use ammo instead of energy, as ammo could get a lot of different effects, specially if they stacked with gun-specific effects, which would allow for a lot of awesome combinations.
