I accidently deleted a pet I was raising! Help!

    I was raising a super cute pet and mis-clicked and deleted him in the trash can icon! Is there anything I can do to get him back or am I screwed!? Webber was so cute and he fought so hard to protect me and I want him back and I am a terrible person! T.T I was trying to attach him to a pet tether so he could protect the house and I DELETED HIM!!!!!! AAAAGH! After crying [and smashing my face against my desk] for half an hour I came here! Can anything be done!?
