Hylotl Swim Animation

Will they have their own?

This is as much a suggestion as a question. As a water-based race it would be nice to see proficiency at swimming.

 

What i have understood that every race will be sharing basic animations to avoid unnecessary coding.

 

It would provide more work for the devs while it would be cool it is most likely unnecessary and not be in the game

 

I do not think it will be much different than what we have already seen:

 

It's the same. It's not that immersive, but it's what we gonna get. Races are vanity, and vanity they are.

There's a default one for them, but i hope that they will have a custom one!

Reptiles/Amphibians actually. Fish must remain in water to live, and the Hylotl can live on land. It is assumed they spend part of their life in water, making them amphibious. If they spend all of their life above water, they are a reptile of some sort.

 

Indeed, but the presence of gills on their heads are pretty intriguing. So I suppose they have both gills and lungs?

 

I remember in terraria there was a buff or a certain item that turned you into a lizard as such, maybe they could copy that.

Don't worry, I do know how to make an even BETTER comment then that one. Here I go, yeah I hope they have a custom one as well, it would look better that way.

You need to work on with your editing.

 

The unique animations would have to be also implemented to every piece of armor in the game.

And that would be a substantial amount of work for something so insignificant.
