Hylotl Seem Kind of Stuck Up

They seem to think they're better than everyone. They dislike Avesmingo despite it basically tasting the same as Reefpod, and they look down on Humans, Glitch, and Apex. Anybody agree or disagree?

 

I made a Hylotl and happened through a Floran village; they absolutely hated me, and were telling me to go away (though they didn't attack me). Since Hylotl settlements haven't been implemented yet, I'm not sure if the Hylotl also hate the Florans.

They seem... smart, in a bit of a condescending way, the way they describe things. I can see where you're coming from.

 

Your point of view is very valid. It's not that we are better than you. It's just that others are intimidated by wisdom and a legacy of greatness which knows no bounds. If anything it would be the Avians that are looking down on others. We look up to you from under the Sea.

The problem with being better than everyone is people tend to think you're arrogant.

 

The Hylotl definitely hate the Florans. They drove them off their planet!
Also, Hylotl are wise, vain, peaceful vegetarians, basically the opposite of Florans. It would be quite surprising if they didn't hate each other.

 

Ah, they do seem rather hypocritical to me too. Hating many things and considering them barbaric when done by other species, yet doing it themselves.

 

Just admit it, most of you Hylotl have some crazy idea that you're a superior race, and look down on us with pity.

Pride is often confused with superiority. Its not crazy that Hylotl have a preference for their own way. If you put Hylotl on a pedestal they have no choice but to look down. It's up to the other species if they want to steal, kill, pollute and destroy planets.

 

Makes sense. ^^ I haven't read up on any of the races or anything, so my knowledge is kinda poor. And I don't read any codex I find because it totally broke my game last time I did.

 

Clearly these inferior beings do not understand the genius of our enlightened race.

We Hylotl praise honour and follow the way of our ancestors. It is of no concern to us that other species do not understand our ways... but at the same time we are willing to share our knowledge if you're ready to be enlightened.

Hylotl are totally stuck up, they just dont have the guts to admit it

 

Floran go to fishman village, sssteal all their ssstuffss, then dig hole in wall to flood village, run away giggling.
