Hylotl Mission Shenaningans

Sup here, trying 1.0 on unstable, feels great so far, but i can't figure out how to get secret chests at Pagoda Library, i mean i've found all of them (or i think so) by using cheatish-ALT-vision, but i really don't see any path to access 2 of them, is there some trick or i missing something? P.S. Sorry if thread with same theme was posted already.

 

Only two I've been able to find have the chest and pants, I haven't found head or back which might be the two you mean. If there is a way to get them, I'd love to know it.

 

Yea i got the same chests as you (pants and chest), but i saw there is 2 more (by ALT-key as i said before), for example, in the beginning when you are moving down by elevator you can see chest (with pressed ALT) beind right wall, and there is no path to that, the only thing could work is blink tech (dunno is it now allows you to go thru some walls), but i didn't try that yet

 

Actually, you have to sink yourself under the right side of the island and float up to get it. That one has the head.

 

Not sure if you've looked around at all much but i did find a few ways to get to some "secret" areas. Like Nefer said you have to sink yourself off the right side of the island and keep going to reach these areas. Once you sink yourself down and land on the buildings, keep going right until you reach the last building and you'll see something like this. There's also cracks in the buildings that if you go through you can get to another room.

All I found in the chest was a snorkle and a book, so it's safe to say there isn't a back item. There were also some diamond ore rocks to the right more, for me. Not sure if they're common or not.

There is indeed a full Samurai armor looking cosmetic suit, in the Hylotl area. If I remember right, and they didn't change the items/locations since I last got them in a Nightly build. Can double check here shortly by running through again, went a little fast as was wanting to see how far my starting system would take me, and ended up just shy of scanning all the needed glitch objects.

One you have to drop into the ocean before going down the elevator, one involves a hallway that floods, and the last involves a mountain of books.

Edit: Yep they are still there, its the Valorous set, should be a helm, chest, and pants. And I didn't know about J114411's area down there with the snorkel either. So I learned something new too.

 

can you show screeshots of the head location? Im clueless of where the headgear is

the headgear for the samurai is in the isalnd at the right side of the elevator.
just jump into the water on the right of the island and then stay at the lower side if the island until you get to the cave
