I drew my Hylotl character Fury! I'll probably be drawing more pictures of her soon, so I'll post them here... maybe
I have read for some reason furry and this got my intention. What I got instead is an awesome fanart, good job
I'm starting to take art commissions on my deviantart (http://helixabyss.deviantart.com/) but since the species aren't exactly mine, I probably couldn't do Starbound characters for that, but if I have time I would be happy to draw your character if that's what you were wanting
I'm kind of concerned about drawing his character for a commission though since it's kind of a game character, I might get in trouble for that... but I can certainly use the practice and it's fun to draw depictions of little pixel people ^^
*a "Nope.avi" head of Slice-singer appear" Did you say "request" ? *pedoface* Seriously, as I said to everyone who I ask for request do mine if only it don't mind you or if you have time. And don't change your style, it's awesome! (Choose the bird or the plant type, not both you'll have too much work I don't want to overbook yourself (Did that make any sense ?)) /!\ EDIT : If I have to pay for that I'll do it, it don't mind me so much if it's not overpriced even if free is better *don't hit me*
A lot of people have been taking comissions of game's races and stuff for a while. You can always add a copyright note that the Hylotl belongs to Chucklefish, and do your stuff without worries. In the end, the talent is yours and it's not like you are stealing their stuff, just being inspired by their creations and earning some money for your work.
Alright, thank you everyone for informing me! For you two and anyone else wanting requests, for now, just for these Starbound characters, maybe I'll do a kind of "pay what you want" kind of thing? Does that sound fair?
Well, it looks good art-wise, but you may want to check the anatomy. Unless she is structured differently than a human, I don't think spines are supposed to bend like that.
Is it how much she's... erm bent, I guess? I kind of imagine aquatic people to be more flexible. I usually just draw what's in my mind and don't really care too much about it being realistic or not
