Not yet, in stable at least. I don't think that its in nightly either, but I have not played it in awhile, and when I did play it did not have it so.

I've spawned items that will apparently found in these but I have not encountered a city yet, on stable anyway.

Probably eventually. I hope so anyway! That and a human colony. Kinda tired of seeing glitch castles and avian towns.....

Last we'd heard, they were working out making it so you or the villagers couldn't accidentally flood them, since they're supposed to be underwater.

    INTENTIONAL flooding, now...

You get the water, I'll get the pipe.

Well they could make them like a protected dungeon with a shield generator. As for flooding upon entrance, there are drains. With three drains like that seems the water will never reach the door anyway, liquid detector or not. They could just fill the entire length of the floor with drains.

Also add a hylotl furniture vendor for those who want to grab decorative items without having to destroy the generator. Or make the generator restore itself after a while. Actions such as destroying the generator and putting the entire population at risk should probably turn everyone hostile.

If it wasn't for the Ocean World's tendancy to have water pressurize up, I'd suggest moonpools as a no-flooding entryway for Hylotl cities. As it stands a wired airlock+pump solution might work.

Airlocks are pretty easy to make.

Did nobody read my post? Sure, DoomFire's airlock looks much better (where is your not switch? can they be hidden or it's just off screen?), but the point was that the assets are already here. Even now someone with free time could admin up all the materials from the game and build a hylotl city with the wiki as a reference. Minus the shield generator, not sure if regular players even with with enabled admin can make them and link them to structures.

Yeah, Shield Generator, plus Vendor to sell Hylotl items seems fine to me.

But you'd think the Hylotl would have evolved to adjust to being amphibious anyway.

This is a bit farfetched, but perhaps you could come across a Hylotl mega city, and you have to gain their trust before you can explore more of their city, with their Shield Generator being deep in the bowels of their city. So, supposedly if you really wanted to, you could be a jerk and turn it off - The choice could be yours, but you would be attacked on sight anyway.

When I decided to hang out on he roofs I noticed that the Apex Apartments already employ shield generators so there you have it. It can't be that much work to implement another settlement type that already exists in the code, unless the wiki screenshots were hand-made.

I really wish that Novakid and Hylotl towns/villages get put into the game soon :c They're my favs but barely get any attention.
