Hylotl and Novakid themes! (WIP)

Listening to the hylotl track right now, and it truly sound like something that came straight from a movie.
Really awesome.

 

Is it me, or is the Hylotly theme sounds like that one classical music about that lake?

Words escape me. They really did.

 

That's incredible! This is the news I was really hoping for after I heard the last Novakid WIP:

"I'm hoping to write at least 1 specific piece for each race to give them a theme and a musical style. They'll be written using a pretty standard orchestral instrumentation, and feature a unique melody for each race."

Race themes for everyone! Can't wait to hear the others, these have been great.

 

Curtis gives me the tingles in my bingles, that is all.

 

Those are actually kinda epic.

 

It sounds like a batman trailer to me, or atleast the first minute does.

 

The Novakid theme isn't really new, I think he streamed it. He might've streamed the Hylotl theme too, I don't pay good attention to this stuff.

GET IT? STREAM? HYLOTL? HUEHUE.

 

I can't put my finger about it, but it was definitely reminiscent of this for me.

 

Oh my lord, Hylotl theme is amazing! Entrance gave me goosebumps . Somehow the first few seconds also sounded a bit like Lux Aeterna for me, with those deep, haunting tones, haha~.

 

Hylotl theme is awesome, reminds me of Dr. Who mixed with Danny Elfman haha

 

I'm digging both, really enjoying the Novakids' twangy vibe.

 

I love that Novakid theme. It's so high-energy and epic. As a fiddle player, I have a bias though. The Hylotl theme certainly conjures up the spirit of the ocean, quite grand.

Also that name is great. "I was the sun before it was cool."

Both are excellent pieces. Starbound's soundtrack is really shaping up to be one of my favorites

Especially loving me some of those classic western-like tunes for the Novakids. The Hylotl sounds quite epic, and even a little sinister at times.
