Hunting for a planet with Toxic Biome (Alpha sector)

Pretty much as the title states, I'm hunting for a planet with a rather large Toxic Biome with the vine like trees made of plant fiber.

I have spent 3 hours planet hopping and not found one so as I go to bed I thought I would try my luck here for the morning.

Any help would be appreciated.

 

Toxic biomes are a mod. Just to make sure: you have the mod installed, correct?

 

Biomes with toxic water and plant fibre trees are in the original game, no mod needed. I don't remember what planet it's most common at but my guess is jungle/forest.

 

Oh those! Right. I've had them spawn in jungle. Which would explain why you have trouble finding them in the alpha sector, you need beta sector for jungle planets iirc.

 

3 whole hours? I usually have these on almost every planet i go to.

 

I think you're looking for a Jungle. They usually have flowers that gives you plenty of fibers.

 

The Toxic biome appears on Jungle planets AND Forest planets.

They are just more uncommon on Forest Planets.
