This may be a thread already, but I don't care to comb through the forums looking for it, so here is a brief bit of feedback. The incessant alarm ringing that tells me I'm starving is not helpful, it's quite annoying. I'm sure there is a better way to get that message to the player. Otherwise, it is fun so far, but still getting used to the mechanics.

How many furbies did you kill as a child?

You could always fall back on modding the game to your liking, if this sound is annoying then you could possibly replace it with something.
I myself am usually never starving enough to hear an alarm, craft yourself a bow or a hunting knife and go on an onslaught, you will have more meat than you could ever...eat.

    Agreed.
I can barely remember what the sound is even like. Between farming (seriously, they GIVE YOU SEEDS right off the bat) and hunting monsters trying to get leather for Snow Gear, i've got enough food to feed a small army.

Not only that but I generally was getting killed pretty wildly...on my starting planet where I farmed the leather armor I left with like..93 cooked alien meat.

I still haven't run out and that's the only food I've consumed.

Would like an option to turn it off.

It is funny when there's several of us in an area and the alarm starts ringing - Reminds me of the movie Wedlock and I keep expecting one our heads to blow up.
