Hunger meter all the time

Or if it takes to much space on the screen you could have a small mini reference icon by the characters picture.

 

I agree that would be quite useful.

 

I think this is much better than the way it is atm

 

I say pressing tab should bring up all status meters.

Edit: pressing alt actually does bring up hunger bar
