**ew I know it is *their* in my title, brain was typing not proofing :S ** When you choose to play a human you have no way of knowing what color underwear you have chosen. the only way to fix this would be to make a new character, and hope that you at least get a bearable color. The second problem, characters can't be deleted, I know you probably have that low on the priority list, what with everybody uproaring over character wipes, but each wipe I lost 12+ toons, I'm not crying, I just don't want my next dude to have yellow underwear
You think you got it bad? My last character had Hot Pink underwear. It really is a problem. We need to know what color our undies are.
This has been frustrating me as well. I was about to create a topic about it until I saw this one. I got stuck with bright yellow underwear, ugh.
I find it amusing how this came up. I am not mocking or anything of the sort, but I had not had the experience to voice my frustration with terribly-colored underwear. Is this specifically for the Human race or does it matter with other races?
Other races have no underwear, we free flow it, lol. But yeah, I agree with this completely. It's like throwing darts in the dark.

I ended up with some lime green underwear. Honestly I just kinda found it funny and got over it, but I can see it being a problem for some.
Best thing is, in the online character creator you CAN check your underwear. Why doesn't game have that?
There has already been plenty of talk about being able to see what color undergarments you want to choose for your human character and a Delete button. I wouldn't be surprised if these 2 subjects were the biggest in demand the player populous talked about on the Forums Suggestions. All this to say though, I do agree that both of these need to be done (sooner rather than later if possible). On a slightly separate subject (but closely similar), perma-death should equal deletion like most other hardcore/perma-death characters in other games are, not keep the slot filled with a skull and crossbones. Granted, if there was a way to revive the character by getting another non-perma-death character over to where your other toon died or have a friend (on multiplayer) come to where you died and revive you, then I could see the slot maintaining it's hold. Otherwise, please make perma-death = character deletion!
There is a mod I use from the nexus that changes the female human's underwear. It allows you to see a bra strap when you wear certain tops, like the cool jacket. You can switch to male and retain the color you chose. It is not an adult mod or anything like that. "Better Bra and Panties" by JusticeWolf. You will need to change the modinfo file to say furious koala, but it works fine.
You CAN pick human undy color but you have to use a workaround. When creating your human character, swap the race to Glitch and use this table to pick the human undy color by selecting the corresponding Glitch eye color: http://i.imgur.com/L2mQ7xV.png * I did not generate this graphic and found the link via Google search.
well you can delete your characters you just need to go into your C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Starbound\player and then kill off all that you don't want.
My guy has pink underwear... Oops I'd prefer if you could dye them, that way I would be able to change them.

Necro thread is necroed! But as for the underwear color selection problem, it actually matches the color of most hair ornaments in hair with, well, ornaments. Choose for example the twin pigtails hairstyle for a female human, the ribbons will change with the underwear color picker. A lousy work-a-round but one that absolutely works in game without any guess work.
