How would you react if Starbound came out unannounced tomorrow?

I would die...

 

Run around telling people who dont care.

 

For me, it would look something like this:

1. A tweet from Steam appears on TweetDeck: "Now Available - Starbound: #SteamNewRelease [link goes here]".
2. I experience a mini heart attack.
3. I retweet and favorite the tweet and then open the link.
4. I try to contain my excitement after finally seeing the Starbound Steam store page.
5. I log in to Steam, mistyping my password a few times due to my increasing excitement.
6. I go through purchase steps, again mistyping things and having troubles aiming my mouse cursor due to increasing levels of excitement.
7. After reaching the final step, I click the "pay now" button as hard as I can.
8. I start the Steam application and begin the download process.
9. Starbound downloads. I go "is it done yet?" about every three seconds. My excitement reaches critical levels.
10. Starbound finishes downloading. My excitement is so huge I can no longer contain it.
11. Extremely overjoyed, I run the game and start discovering it.

 

12. Your corpse is found a days later after having died of starvation.

 

Starbound won't absorb me this much - food and water are more important.

 

FOOD?! WATER?! MORE IMPORTANT THAN STARBOUND?! BLASPHEMY! RECANT YOUR SAYINGS OR FACE THE WRATH OF TIY!!!!!!

 

Food and water can wait, this is true, but everybody poops, and your love fro SB won't stop that, so you can store some non perishables and a cup in the bathroom to take care of all three at once. At least this way you'll minimize your time away from the game to a few minutes (give or take) two to three times daily depending on how much fiber you ingest.

 

Dont eat food > Dont ingest fiber > Dont poo.

Its impossible to express feelings to that if it would happen,the words arent enough,even face expression isnt enough,its not enough,it would be incomphrensibly gorgeous moment,and i would fell deep into the deep corners of love of this game...

I would be a little surprised and react something like this to be honest:



...And then I would buy the game or preorder.

And if Tiy was sitting on the livingroom table with a copy of Starbound I would react more like this:


"... NO - WAI - DOOD ?! ... ?! *STARBOUND*"

 

Buy new pants. Because mine would be torn to shreds by the massive boner delivered by this game.
