How to verify xnb. files without deleting mods?

I recently accidentally installed some dialogue mods in the wrong spot, and I know that I can verify the game to fix it but I don't want to have to reinstall SMAPI and my other mods again. Does verifying even delete the mods that aren't xnb. and if it does is there anywhere I can install the original character files?

 

Verifying the game files won't remove any SMAPI mods. If you're on Linux/Mac, you'll need to reinstall SMAPI itself (but your SMAPI mods won't be affected).

 

The only mods that will be overwritten are going to be the XNB swaps. For those, there's a MUCH cleaner way of doing that using the mod ContentPatcher, which removes this problem entirely.
