    Hello there

I've had Starbound for about a week now and have sort of a newbie question. How do I set a planet as a homeworld on Stable? I was told you have to click the planet and click the "Set Homeworld" button in the captain's chair, but I see no "Set Homeworld" button. Any help would be appreciated.

You can't set a home world, at least not in game. There is a mod that can do it, however.

They replaced the Homeworld function with the Bookmark system. You can use it to bookmark planets in your navigation system, so you can easily access them in the system without having to remember or write down the coordinates somewhere. It just becomes a simple matter of selecting the bookmarked system and flying back to it.

If you want to be able to teleport to your "homeworld", there's a couple of ways to set this up. You can use a flag, which allows you to create a teleporter bookmark at the spot you placed the flag. This will allow you to teleport to that flag from any teleporter. If I remember correctly, they only require some fabric and wood to craft. The more expensive option is to buy a teleporter from the outpost. When placed, it will also create a bookmark like the flag, but you can also use it to teleport back to the ship or to other bookmarked locations. I believe the teleporters cost 3000 pixels and a teleporter core to purchase, and come in a variety of designs.
