How to reset universe while keeping saved worlds?

I want to reset my Stabound universe but I don't want to lose several planets that have teleporters on them and structures I've built. However, I made the dumb mistake of only using a teleporter; I should have book marked the worlds too because now I can't figure out what their coordinates are (which correspond to the files). How can I match them up with the files? I've moved on too far to try to locate them manually.

Also, lets say I have a world with a teleporter that I do know the coordinates to. If I were to remove all my universe world files but leave just that one, would it remain intact? Would any structures I've put on it remain?

    Any help is appreciated.

Assuming the planets you want to keep all have teleporters, one way you can figure out which files are the ones you want to keep is:

    1.) Start up Starbound
2.) Teleport to the planets you want to keep
3.) Open your Universe folder. The WORLD files with a "Date Modified" time matching with this game session would be the planets you just visited.

As far as I know, the planets should remain intact as long as you don't delete their respective WORLD files.

The pinned post for finding homeworld planet would be useful in doing this. Well to at least get a bit of info concerning the files themself. Since the files are marked with xyz coordinates and which planet they are within the system. So using that info and doing what the person mentions above you can save the planets you want to keep. Just delete the rest of the world files there after. If you want the reset also to affect the outpost, then also delete everything except the world files. Although I am unsure how deleting the chunks file will affect having saved world files...

Could backup the directory just in case something goes wrong, so you could call back prior. But that is up to you. Regardless just deleting every file except the world files you want to keep would generally work. have not done that in such a long time, so I personally don't know how it affects in the current version. Last I did something like this was when the game was still in early access. :nuruhappy:
